Gotham Volleyball

Gotham Volleyball, first established in 1981 is one of New York's original and largest LGBTQ sports leagues! Our mission is to improve the quality of life for LGBTQ individuals by building community through the sport of volleyball. Basically, we are a volleyball league with a social and community focus, and a warm, friendly, open environment. We have over 700 members, playing in our league games, and 8 volleyball classes (known as the "Power" Classes).

We offer a full Fall and Spring Season and a limited Summer Season. Our League play has 72 teams playing at 9 different levels, to accommodate those at any level of play, from total new player to expert. We're also the only NY-area adult volleyball league to offer classes, to help those who are looking to improve their skills or are totally new to the game. We also have big end of the season parties and community service events throughout the year.
