Ski Bums

SKI BUMS is the world's largest club for gay and lesbian skiers and snowboarders. Founded in New York City in 2003, SKI BUMS hosts social events and group trips to the world's best ski resorts throughout North America, South America and Europe.

SKI BUMS welcomes skiers and snowboarders of ALL skill levels, from total newbies to seasoned pros. If you'd like to learn to ski or snowboard -- or just pick up where you left off -- SKI BUMS is the perfect place to discover how much fun you can have in the mountains, especially when you've got a group of fun-loving, outdoorsy LGBT skiers and riders along for the fun. SKI BUMS offers weekend and weekday trips to local resorts in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, along with longer vacations to major resorts in Vermont, Colorado, Utah, California, Wyoming, Europe and beyond.

Trips are exclusively open to those who have registered for SKI BUMS membership at ski-bums.org. Membership is valid for one full year, and includes discounts to major ski and snowboarding retail sites, special invitations to discounted shopping nights, exclusive early sign up privileges, and discounts at local ski and snowboard shops.

The SKI BUMS social events in New York City are open to anyone -- if you'd like to meet the BUMS, you're encouraged to swing by an upcoming social event! It's an easy way to learn more about the club, meet other members, and hear about all the fun of taking a SKI BUMS trip.

DAYTRIPS FROM NYC

SKI BUMS regularly host daytrips to Hunter Mountain, Belleayre Mountain, Mountain Creek and Windham, all of which are within a short drive of Manhattan. Daytrips include a private bus to the mountain and back, lift ticket, equipment rental, and a fun-filled après-ski party on the way home! The SKI BUMS daytrips are especially affordable -- a typical day costs about $100.

SKI BUMS hosts 3, 5, 7 and 10-day trips to major resorts around the world.
